Background
We are passionate tea lovers. Travelling across Southeast Asia, we rarely found tea that truly impressed us. Amid the global matcha boom, low-quality powders have flooded the market.
CHA CHA exists to introduce the rich quality and craftsmanship of authentic Japanese tea to people around the world — starting on a quiet lane in Pererenan.
Concept
We curate exceptional teas — sencha, hojicha and matcha — sourced from regions across Japan, each expressing its own terroir. Our aim is to share tradition through a modern sensory experience that engages all five senses.
